Baabda: Israeli airstrikes and shelling targeted several locations in southern Lebanon, focusing on the areas around Nabatieh, Bint Jbeil, and Jezzine. Israeli warplanes on Thursday carried out airstrikes on the outskirts of Zibqin and Yater, Roumine and Mayfadoun, as well as the area between Aba and Jibshit and the town of Zawtar al-Gharbiyeh.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, additional strikes occurred in the University District in Nabatieh, Jibshit, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Tulousa, and Touline, along with the outskirts of Deir Seryan and Adaisseh. Israeli aircraft also launched a broader wave of strikes at dawn, targeting various locations, including Aba, Kfarreman near the roundabout and al-Suwaida neighborhood, the vicinity of the Kfour cemetery, and the area of Toul. One of the strikes between Zawtar and Kfartabnit resulted in three fatalities.
In addition to the airstrikes, artillery shelling targeted the Litani River course and the outskirts of Sarira in the Jezzine area.
