Security Update: Israeli Strikes Hit South Lebanon After Evacuation Warnings, Casualties Reported

Bkerke: Israeli forces on Monday launched airstrikes on the southern towns of Dbaal and Qana in the Tyre district after issuing warnings to residents, while two people were killed in a separate strike on Shhour. Warplanes also struck Zawtar al-Sharqiya and Baraachit in the Bint Jbeil district, as artillery shelled Mansouri in Tyre. The Israeli army issued urgent evacuation notices to residents of Qana, Dbaal, Qaaqaaiyet al-Jisr and Srifa.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, overnight, Israeli forces carried out demolition operations in Khiam and Qantara, while drones remained over southern Lebanon through the night into the morning. Illumination flares were also dropped over Baraachit, and shelling targeted the outskirts of Safad al-Battikh, Yater, Majdal Selm and Shaaitiyeh earlier in the day.
