Beirut: At least nine people were killed and 16 wounded in a series of Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon, five people were killed and 15 injured in an airstrike on the town of Saksakiyeh. In Tyre district, civil defence teams recovered two bodies from a vehicle targeted on the Hdaya road near Al-Siraj Secondary School between Wadi Jilo and Tyre Debba.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, a separate strike on a house near the municipality building in Khirbet Silem killed two people and wounded another, while additional raids targeted the towns of Shaaitiyeh and Bedyas.
