Nassereddine Discusses Cooperation with Australian Envoy

Beirut: Health Minister, Rakan Nassereddine, on Wednesday received Australian Ambassador to Lebanon Tom Wilson for talks on general developments and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the health sector. The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration between Lebanon and Australia, particularly in enhancing healthcare services and addressing pressing health challenges.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during the meeting, Wilson praised the Health Ministry's efforts and its ability to confront challenges amid difficult wartime conditions. The discussions also focused on potential initiatives and projects that could benefit from Australian expertise and support, aiming to improve healthcare access and infrastructure in Lebanon. Ambassador Wilson reaffirmed Australia's commitment to supporting Lebanon's health sector, underlining the importance of international cooperation in overcoming shared challenges.
