Sheikh Mansoor Attends Expansive Dubai Muscle Show at Expo City

DUBAI: H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, visited the eighth edition of the Dubai Active, Dubai Active Industry, and Dubai Muscle Show at Expo City Dubai. The event, renowned as the Middle East's leading fitness and bodybuilding exhibition, is set to conclude on October 27 and is anticipated to be the largest in its history, attracting approximately 38,000 fitness enthusiasts. According to Emirates News Agency, the exhibition is held in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council at the Dubai Exhibition Centre and features 400 exhibitors from 40 countries, showcasing international brands in sports equipment, nutritional supplements, and bodybuilding technology. The event also includes an Amateur Bodybuilding Championship and the Dubai Muscle Classic, the region's most prestigious bodybuilding competition. During his visit, Sheikh Mansoor engaged with representatives from major international companies, examining their latest products and innovations in the fitness industry. He lauded the efforts of the organisers and reiterated the Dubai Sports Council's commitment to supporting sporting events in collaboration with the private sector, emphasizing the importance of such partnerships for economic growth and job creation. The exhibition offers a platform for fans to interact with bodybuilding legends like Hadi Choopan, Ronnie Coleman, Hany Rambod, Big Ramy, Brandon Curry, Phil Heath, and Kai Greene. These icons are expected to share insights on training, nutrition, and the mindset of champions through various sessions at the Dubai Muscle Talks. The event also sees the return of an initiative aimed at inspiring students in the UAE, offering free tickets to promote an active lifestyle in collaboration with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority and Gems Education Foundation. The Dubai Muscle Classic, supported by sponsors like Optimum Nutrition, offers over AED70,000 in prize money and the chance to win 13 IFBB Pro Cards. Additional features include t he 'HYROX 365 Challenge' for endurance testing, the Forge Grappling Challenge for Jiu-Jitsu enthusiasts, and the Future Champions Tournament showcasing young talents in boxing, MMA, and Muay Thai.
