The training center at the Middle East News Agency (MENA) is for the first time organizing simultaneous interpretation courses as part of a comprehensive upgrade plan. The courses will be offered in English and French to university students and graduates, said MENA board chairman and editor-in-chief Aly Hassan Monday, noting that other foreign languages, such as the Japanese, Chinese, Spanish and Italian, should be included in a later stage. The simultaneous interpretation hall at MENA has been developed to keep up with the latest updates in the field, Hassan made it clear. The MENA training center is willing to organize different courses for Egyptian, Arab and African journalists and media men, as well as students, he said. Source: Middle East News Agency
