Sisi Condemns Iranian Attacks During Call with UAE President

Beirut: UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call today from his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, following the military escalation in the region and the risks of a widening conflict, according to Sky News Arabia.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Egyptian president condemned what he described as Iran's blatant attacks targeting the UAE and several Arab states, affirming Egypt's solidarity with the UAE in defending its territory, security, and sovereignty. He stressed the need to respect state sovereignty, uphold the principle of good neighborliness, and exercise maximum restraint at this critical stage.

Both leaders emphasized the need to prioritize dialogue and diplomacy to prevent further escalation and safeguard regional and international peace and security.
