Beirut: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday received, through the Syrian Embassy in Beirut, an official notification from the Syrian government announcing the suspension of the activities of the Lebanese-Syrian Higher Council.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the decision also stipulates that all forms of communication between the two countries shall henceforth be conducted exclusively through official diplomatic channels.
