Tele-Communications Minister Charles Hage Casts Vote in Hometown During Municipal Elections

Bteddine El-Laqsh: Tele-Communications Minister Charles Hage cast his vote in the municipal and mayoral elections in his hometown of Bteddine El-Laqsh this afternoon. He emphasized the significance of holding these elections under challenging circumstances.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Hage praised the electoral process and commended the efforts made to achieve this democratic entitlement despite difficult security, political, and financial conditions. He highlighted the effective leadership of the Minister of Interior, who managed the electoral process with firmness, seriousness, and flexibility, ensuring that the elections proceeded in the best possible manner.

Minister Hage remarked that the successful conduct of municipal elections this year represents a crucial reform effort. It underscores the commitment of the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, and the cabinet ministers to uphold the core principles of democracy, including the regular scheduling of elections.

He further stated that national responsibility begins with the careful selection and accountability of local authorities.
