Beirut: Minister of Telecommunications, Charles Hajj, met with Fran§ois Sporrer, Head of the Economic Department at the French Embassy in Beirut, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between Lebanon and France in the telecommunications sector.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the talks primarily focused on potential collaboration with Eutelsat (OneWeb), a global satellite communications company. The discussions delved into the opportunities that such a partnership could offer, particularly in expanding broadband services and modernizing connectivity infrastructure. These steps are regarded as crucial for enhancing Lebanon's position in the digital economy.
