On Saturday evening, the Israeli occupation forces arrested citizens from the village of Karma, south of Hebron.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces arrested both: lawyer Hisham Mahmoud Abu Sheikha and Hazem Nasser Abu Sheikha, after the villagers confronted settlers from the “Otnael” settlement who tried to build tents on land they seized by force in the village.
The head of the Karma Village Council, Raafat Abu Sheikha, said that large forces from the occupation army stormed the village and fired gas bombs at the citizens, causing dozens to suffocate. The bombs also set fire to at least 50 olive trees in the village
