The Palestine Stock Exchange participates in the third economic development conference held in Sakhnin

The Palestine Stock Exchange, represented by the Chairman of its Board of Directors, Mr. Samir Hulileh, and its General Director, Mr. Nihad Kamal, participated in the annual economic development conference held in Sakhnin, Thursday, 09/14/2023, which is organized by the Arab Economic Forum for the third time in a row, and is considered the largest forum to date. It attracts the attention of stakeholders in the issues of economics and development in the Arab community, including internal Palestinians. The conference discusses improving the economic position of the Arab community by proposing solutions that carry within it several strategic directions, with the participation of 33 speakers, including representatives of influential companies and institutions, academics, researchers, and decision-makers.

For his part, Hulileh gave a presentation on “Investing in the Palestine Stock Exchange,” during which he focused on the role of the Palestine Stock Exchange in economic development and its importance in developing savings and attracting investment. He explained that the Palestine Stock Exchange’s participation in this conference comes within its strategy based on developing investment awareness, and the importance of strengthening the relationship with... Economic bodies and institutions for Palestinian citizens in the 48 areas, and stressed that the Stock Exchange is working hard to redirect the investment compass in Palestine and give the securities sector its share that is commensurate with its ability to advance the economic reality, in view of the capabilities and expertise enjoyed by Palestinian investors from within.

In a related context, Hulileh emphasized the importance of the conference and its proposed topics, saying: “Attending this conference gave us the opportunity to communicate with many investors and company owners, and pushed us towards activating economic cooperation with them because of this cooperation’s important economic effects that contribute positively to the formation of a Palestinian coalition.” “My collective is built on fair values and principles that will build an economic strategy that matches the best financial markets at the regional and global levels.”
