Turkish Interior Minister Identifies Attack Suspect as PKK Member

Ankara: The Turkish Interior Minister, Ali Yerlikaya, announced that a suspect in the recent armed attack on the Aerospace Industries facility near Ankara is affiliated with the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK. The attack, which occurred on Wednesday, resulted in the deaths of five people and injured 22 others. According to Kuwait News Agency, Minister Yerlikaya shared details on his X account, revealing the identity of the individual involved in the attack on the firm Tusas. The minister stated that the "terrorist who was neutralized" during the assault has been identified as Ali Oruk, who goes by the code name Rogjever, and is a member of the PKK organization. The attack took place at the firm's installations in Kahramanqazan, a district near the capital city of Ankara. Turkish authorities have labeled the incident a "terrorist attack" and are continuing their investigation into the motives and potential connections of the assailant.
