ABU DHABI: A training course titled 'Oversight of the Outcomes of Internal Audit Work in Subject Entities' was launched today in Abu Dhabi, organised by the UAE Accountability Authority. The event saw participation from representatives of regulatory bodies from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries as well as local regulatory bodies within the UAE. This course is part of the annual training programmes for financial oversight and accounting bodies for 2024, which have been approved by the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The two-day course covers the principles and standards of internal auditing. It delves into evaluating the work and outcomes of internal audits and their influence on governance, risk management, and internal control systems within subject entities.
