PARIS: Ali Abdullah Al Ali, UAE's Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), presented his credentials to Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO, at the organisation's headquarters in Paris, France. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the well-established partnerships between the UAE and UNESCO, with regards to the initiatives adopted by the UAE to support organised programmes around the world. These initiatives include implementing several projects including 'Revive the Spirit of Mosul' in Iraq, and the upcoming World Conference on Culture and Arts Education, which will take place in February in Abu Dhabi. Al Ali affirmed the importance of enhancing cooperation with UNESCO and its member states, to reinforce sustainable development and peaceful coexistence, through initiatives in the field of education, culture, and science.
