Beirut: UNIFIL issued the following statement on Friday: "Yesterday afternoon, two Austrian peacekeepers in a logistics convoy traveling south from Beirut were injured in a traffic accident. While one injury was light, the second was more serious, but not life-threatening. The Lebanese Red Cross was on site and took both peacekeepers to hospital, where they were later released. Only UNIFIL vehicles were involved in the accident.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, UNIFIL wishes both peacekeepers a full and swift recovery."
