Caracas: The New York Times revealed that a "Washington spy within the Venezuelan government" helped in the arrest of its president, Nicolas Maduro, on Saturday, according to Sky News Arabia.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the newspaper, citing sources familiar with the operation, said that "US special operations forces arrested Maduro with the help of a CIA source inside the Venezuelan government." The New York Times explained that the CIA source had been monitoring Maduro's location in recent days.
