Tripoli: Debris removal operations continue in the Al-Qubba area of Tripoli, following the collapse of a building last night. The clearing efforts are being carried out with extreme caution in order to rescue more people, estimated to be four, as voices are still being heard beneath the rubble, reinforcing the possibility that survivors may be trapped.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, it was reported that, under the directives of President Michel Aoun, Prime Minister Dr. Najib Mikati, and Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar, reinforcement rescue teams have arrived to assist in the debris removal operations. Several officials have also arrived at the site, along with representatives from the North Governorate, which is overseeing the rescue operations from the operations room at the Tripoli Government Palace.
