Beirut: Voting activity in the Mount Lebanon Governorate has led to a turnout of 14.30% so far, as reported by the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities. The municipal and mayoral elections have seen varied participation across different districts within the governorate.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Keserwan recorded the highest voting percentage at 20.83%, followed by Jbeil with 19.81%. Aley saw a turnout of 14.09%, while North Metn and Baabda reported lower participation rates of 11.93% and 11.13%, respectively.
The total number of eligible voters in the Mount Lebanon Governorate stands at 833,715. Out of this, 119,257 individuals have cast their votes, contributing to the overall voting rate of 14.30%. These figures highlight the ongoing voting trends and the engagement level of the electorate in this region.
