Beirut: Voting turnout in the Mount Lebanon Governorate has reached 19.46% in the ongoing municipal and mayoral elections. This figure reflects the participation of 162,271 voters out of the total 833,715 eligible voters in the region.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities released updated statistics showing varied participation rates across different districts. Keserwan reported the highest turnout at 27.34%, followed by Jbeil with 26.24%. Meanwhile, Aley saw an 18.68% turnout, Baabda recorded 16.51%, and North Metn had the lowest turnout among the listed areas at 16.44%.
These figures highlight the regional differences in voter engagement across the Mount Lebanon Governorate as the elections progress. The overall turnout is being closely monitored as elections continue in the area.
