Youth Ministers of Bahrain and Cyprus Discuss Strengthening Youth Initiatives

Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, held a video conference with Dr. Athena Michailidou, Minister of Education, Sports and Youth of the Republic of Cyprus. Minister Tawfeeqi emphasized the enduring bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Cyprus, highlighting their continuous growth across various domains. She praised the level of coordination in youth affairs between the two nations and stressed the importance of boosting bilateral cooperation and sharing successful experiences in youth work to support and empower youth in both countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Michailidou expressed gratitude for the strong cooperative relations and their ongoing development. She underscored the importance of expanding youth cooperation, focusing on the benefits of leading youth initiatives and experiences from both countries.

The meeting addressed several areas of bilateral youth cooperation, including the organization of joint youth events and programs, in accordance with the agreement signed between the two countries. Additionally, the ministers discussed the latest developments regarding international initiatives and events planned under the global network supporting youth competitiveness, known as the "Hope Network".
