Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,053.59 points, marking an increase of 8.86 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to a rise in the financial sector and the consumer staple sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 1,016.61 points, marking an increase of 20.60 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 106 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,572,771, worth BD 604,244.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 48.47% of the total value of securities traded.
