EPA Partners with Aramex to Enhance Logistics for UAE’s Publishing Sector

Abu dhabi: The Emirates Publishers Association (EPA) has entered into a strategic partnership with Aramex Emirates LLC, signing a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at bolstering logistics support for UAE publishers. This collaboration is set to provide exclusive logistics services to EPA member publishers, enhancing the distribution of their publications both locally and internationally. According to Emirates News Agency, the new agreement is part of the EPA's broader initiative to sustain the growth of the UAE's book industry and creative economy. By teaming up with Aramex, the EPA intends to streamline the distribution process for publishers, thereby expanding their reach, reducing operational costs, and increasing the efficiency of their business operations. Under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding, Aramex will offer a variety of special deals on express transport solutions and shipping services tailored to meet the specific needs of publishers. This initiative not only aims to address immediat e logistical requirements but also seeks to enhance the overall effectiveness of book distribution. The partnership also complements existing services provided by Menassah Distribution Company, which focuses on developing distribution mechanisms for Emirati publishers and authors. These services are designed to make Emirati publications more accessible to readers at both local and international book fairs and online platforms. Rashid Al Kous, Executive Director of EPA, highlighted the significance of the partnership in supporting the local and global distribution of Emirati publications. "This initiative is crucial for reducing operating costs, supporting the global presence of Emirati books, and enhancing their competitiveness in the global publishing market," Al Kous stated. He emphasized the EPA's commitment to utilizing all available resources to support publishers and enhance the sector's contribution to the UAE's cultural, social, and economic development. Tarek Abuyaghi, General Manager of Aramex, a lso expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership. "By collaborating closely with Emirati publishers, we aim to enhance the accessibility of their remarkable works and contribute to the growth of the UAE's creative economy," said Abuyaghi.
