Lebanese Health Minister to Address Medicine Availability and Cholera Outbreak

Beirut: Caretaker Minister of Public Health, Dr. Firas Abiad, is scheduled to hold a press conference at 10:00 am on Friday, October 18, 2024, to discuss the current state of medicine in Lebanon and outline the ministry's plan to ensure its availability amidst ongoing health challenges. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Dr. Abiad will also detail the steps the Ministry of Public Health is taking to contain the cholera outbreak in the country. The conference, aiming to address these critical health issues, will be held at the Ministry's new office in Karantina.
