Kuwait Amir’s Representative Highlights Role of FII in Promoting Sustainable Future.

Riyadh: Representative of His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who also serves as the Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Nora Al-Fassam, emphasized the contribution of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) to securing a sustainable future for mankind. Al-Fassam made these remarks in a joint statement to Kuwait TV and KUNA while attending the initiative in Saudi Arabia. According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Fassam expressed pride in representing His Highness the Amir at the event, underscoring the importance of Kuwait's participation in supporting Saudi Arabia's significant role in sustainable development. She highlighted that the FII addresses global challenges such as climate change, food security, and the future of energy through panel discussions involving senior government officials and private sector leaders from around the world. Kuwait's involvement aims to explore solutions to these issues and develop strat egic plans to enhance sustainable development within the country, Al-Fassam noted. She stated that Kuwait is currently focused on fostering growth and economic development by initiating major projects that promote integration among GCC member states. On the sidelines of the FII, His Highness the Amir's representative engaged in meetings with international investors and officials. These discussions centered on Kuwait's 2035 vision and strategy, highlighting projects like the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port and renewable energy initiatives.
