Rasamny Engages with UNDP Delegation and Visits Civil Service Council President

Beirut: Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, on Wednesday welcomed a delegation from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) headed by the organization's Resident Representative in Lebanon, Blerta Aliko. The meeting was part of ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration on development initiatives within the country.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the UNDP delegation included Vahakn Kabakian, Green Development Officer, Nabil Mneimneh, Project Director, and Zahi Chahine, Director of the Disaster Risk Management Project. The discussions focused on potential projects and strategies to address development challenges in Lebanon.

Earlier in the day, Minister Rasamny met with MP Yassine Yassine, who was accompanied by a delegation. The talks centered around public affairs and development projects under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. The meeting aimed to align efforts between the ministry and parliamentary representatives to foster progress in public infrastructure.

In a separate engagement, Rasamny visited Nisrine Machmouchi, President of the Civil Service Council. This visit underscored the minister's commitment to strengthening ties between governmental bodies to ensure efficient public service delivery and administrative reform.
