Under the Patronage of Syrian President Al-Sharaa, a $1.5 Billion ‘Damascus Gate’ Media Project Is Signed

Damascus: In the presence of Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, the Syrian Ministry of Information signed a memorandum of understanding with Al-Maha International Company to establish the City of 'Damascus Gate' for media and art production.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Syrian Information Minister Dr. Hamza al-Mustafa stated during the signing ceremony at the People's Palace that the memorandum of understanding between the Information Ministry and Al-Maha International Art Production Company marks the launch of a strategic project named 'Damascus Gate.' This initiative is recognized as the first integrated project for media, film, and tourism production in Syria.

The $1.5 billion Damascus Gate city aligns with strategic state policies to attract unique development projects. Mohammed Al-Anzi, Chairman of Al-Maha International Company, expressed his honor in participating in what he described as a historic moment in building New Syria. He extended congratulations to all Syrians for their homeland's liberation and return.

Al-Anzi emphasized the project's cultural significance, highlighting that it stems from the will of the Syrian people. He expressed gratitude to the Syrian Presidency, the government, and the Ministry of Information for their warm reception, which he stated demonstrates the nation's commitment to its values, openness to creativity, and dedication to transforming opportunities into tangible achievements.
