Berri Engages in Key Meetings on Political, Health, and Economic Issues

Beirut: Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, convened a series of significant meetings at Ain El-Tineh, starting with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. The discussions centered around the latest political and security developments and the outcomes of the visit by U.S. presidential envoy Thomas Barrack. Prime Minister Salam commented on the visit by stating, 'Speaker Berri said it all yesterday. The atmosphere is positive.'

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Speaker Berri also met with Dr. Sania Nishtar, Chair of the GAVI Alliance, who was accompanied by Health Minister Dr. Rakan Nassereddine and Health Ministry Director General Fadi Sinan. The delegation presented GAVI's action plan aimed at supporting Lebanon in securing essential vaccines, in line with the World Health Organization's guidelines, and coordinated with the Ministry of Public Health.

Later in the day, Berri held discussions with Jihad Azour, Director of the IMF's Middle East and Central Asia Department. The talks focused on Lebanon's financial and economic situation, highlighting the ongoing challenges and potential strategies for stabilization.
