Beirut: Information Minister Paul Morcos left Beirut today heading to the State of Qatar on an official visit aimed at enhancing media cooperation between the two countries.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during the visit, Minister Morcos will meet with Chairman of the Qatar Media Corporation, Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani, and several senior Qatari officials to discuss prospects for partnership and the development of joint media work.
Ways to support the Lebanese media sector to keep pace with recent transformations in this field will also feature high during the Minister's talks with Qatari officials.
