President Aoun Mourns Passing of MP Skaff: Lebanon Lost a Genuine National Voice Committed to Defending Nation’s Causes

Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, expressed his deep sorrow at the passing of West Bekaa Deputy, Dr. Ghassan Skaff, who left behind a lifetime of humanitarian, health, educational and national service contributions.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun stated, "With the passing of MP Skaff, Lebanon has lost a loyal representative and a genuine national voice, who dedicated his life to serving all Lebanese, especially the people of his region, first as a skilled physician, and then as a representative of the nation committed to defending the country's causes in Parliament."

"May God have mercy on his soul; he was a man of unwavering principles, a firm will, and sincere patriotism, known for his integrity, commitment, and dedication to his medical and parliamentary duties," Aoun added.

"His passing is a great loss for Lebanon, the Parliament, and the health sector, in which he was one of the most prominent figures, both within Lebanon and abroad, throughout his life. The memory of the late MP will remain alive in the hearts of all who knew and worked with him," the President pledged.

Aoun offered his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of the late MP, to his colleagues in Parliament, and to all his loved ones and acquaintances, asking God Almighty to inspire his family and friends patience and solace to endure his loss.
