Manama: His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa today inaugurated the exhibition "His Legacy and Biography", dedicated to His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, at the Bahrain National Museum.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the significance of documenting lives of key figures who have played a role in the Kingdom's progress. He highlighted that these contributions are foundational to Bahrain's rich legacy, spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman acknowledged the declaration of 2026 as the "Year of Isa Al Kabeer" to honor His Highness Isa Al Kabeer, the founder of modern Bahrain and a pioneer in its institutional development. He reaffirmed Bahrain's dedication to preserving its heritage and recognizing national figures who have influenced the Kingdom's growth.
On this occasion, His Highness stressed the importance of promoting Bahraini culture, literature, and art to reinforce the Kingdom's identity, recognizing the crucial support of His Majesty the King in these endeavors.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman also highlighted the directives of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in enhancing the Kingdom's cultural sector and showcasing its vibrant culture. He pointed out the significance of the exhibition, which chronicles the journey of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa as a cultural, literary, and poetic pioneer in Bahrain, and his lasting contributions to the nation's cultural heritage.
His Highness underscored the importance of these exhibitions in preserving Bahrain's history for future generations and praised the efforts of the exhibition's organizers, wishing them success in achieving the Kingdom's goals.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman toured the exhibition, which includes archival photographs, personal belongings, documents, and manuscripts of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa, highlighting key milestones of his life and his literary and intellectual contributions alongside the Al Khalifa family rulers. Several senior officials were also in attendance.
