Accra:President Joseph Aoun engaged in discussions regarding the state of Lebanon's electricity sector with Energy and Water Minister Joe Saddi. The talks focused on strategies to enhance power generation at the country's electricity plants.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, in a separate meeting, President Aoun was briefed by Bishop Mounir Khairallah, Maronite Bishop of Batroun and Chairman of the Episcopal Commission for Media, alongside Monsignor Abdo Abu Kasm, Director of the Catholic Media Center, about a draft publication titled "Blessed Are the Peacemakers."
The book, which includes photographs and written accounts, documents Pope Leo XIV's visit to Lebanon last year. It is planned for launch at a ceremony at the Maronite Patriarchal See in Bkerke, commemorating the first anniversary of the papal visit.
