Beirut:Former Prime Minister Najib Mikati met with Egypt's newly appointed Ambassador to Lebanon, Tamim Khallaf, on Monday. The meeting marked an acquaintance visit as Khallaf assumes his new diplomatic responsibilities in Lebanon.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, the discussion between Mikati and Ambassador Khallaf included talks on the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Egypt, as well as the current situation in the region.
The meeting signifies the beginning of Ambassador Khallaf's tenure in Lebanon and reflects the ongoing diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
