Arab League Chief Slams Israeli Raids in Lebanon and Gaza, Citing Indiscriminate Violence and Civilian Casualties

KUWAIT CITY: Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit issued a strong condemnation of the recent Israeli military actions in Nabatieh, Lebanon, and northern Gaza, highlighting the severe impact on civilians and essential infrastructure. The statement, released on Wednesday, particularly noted the raid on Nabatieh which resulted in numerous casualties, including the death and injury of local officials and aid workers. According to Kuwait News Agency, Secretary-General Gheit described the Israeli operations as indiscriminate, with the apparent intent to inflict conditions in Lebanon similar to those currently experienced in Gaza. He accused Israel of perpetrating massacres against civilians, stating that the intensity and ferocity of the attacks have escalated beyond the initial stages of the conflict.
