Beirut: The Army Command's Orientation Directorate announced that following extensive communications between the Army's Cooperation and Coordination Office and Syrian authorities, they have successfully secured the custody of a citizen identified as (A.N.). This individual is one of the primary suspects in the kidnapping and murder of Pascal Sleiman, which occurred on April 7, 2024. The suspect has been transferred to the Army Intelligence Directorate for further investigation into the crime.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Army's statement also revealed that the detainee is the leader of a gang known for engaging in kidnapping, theft, and forgery, with several arrest warrants issued against him. An investigation is currently underway under the supervision of the relevant judiciary to uncover more details about this crime.
