Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,045.14 points, marking a decrease of 1.59 points below the previous closing. This decline was attributed to the downturn in the consumer discretionary sector, the financial sector, and the materials sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index, however, marked an increase, closing at 995.90 points with a rise of 1.01 points above the previous closing. The trading day saw a total of 123 equity transactions with a volume of 3,772,283, valued at BD 1,032,226.
Investors concentrated their trading activities primarily in the financial sector, which accounted for 70.88% of the total value of securities traded.
