Jordanian-Lebanese Joint Higher Committee to Convene in Beirut

Beirut: Jordan's Prime Minister is set to arrive in the Lebanese capital tomorrow to co-chair the meetings of the Jordanian-Lebanese Joint Higher Committee alongside Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam. The eighth session of this committee will be held at the Grand Serail tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, marking a significant diplomatic engagement between the two nations.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan of Jordan will land at Beirut-Rafik Hariri International Airport at 3:00 p.m., where he will be welcomed by Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam. Following his arrival, both leaders will proceed to the Grand Serail for an official welcoming ceremony.

The agenda includes a bilateral meeting between the two prime ministers, after which the Joint Higher Committee will convene under their leadership, involving members from both the Lebanese and Jordanian delegations. The session aims to strengthen bilateral ties through the signing of various agreements and memoranda of understanding.

At the conclusion of the committee's meetings, Prime Ministers Salam and Hassan are expected to deliver a joint press statement, highlighting the outcomes and future directions of the Jordanian-Lebanese collaboration.
