Beirut: Free Patriotic Movement leader, Gebran Bassil, emphasized the deep connection of Southerners to their land in a recent message shared on platform X. Bassil highlighted the importance of a strong community presence to ensure the continued freedom and prosperity of southern regions, including Zahrani, Sidon, Tyre, Bint Jbeil, Marjayoun, Nabatieh, and Jezzine.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Bassil described Jezzine as a "mighty fortress with a big heart that embraces the whole world." He conveyed a sense of pride and optimism, stating that Jezzine is regaining its vibrancy, and expressed enthusiasm about raising the flag over its historic ramparts. The call for a massive turnout is aimed at reinforcing the cultural and territorial integrity of these southern Lebanese areas, viewed as integral to the nation's identity and heritage.
