Casualties in an Israeli airstrike targeting houses in Nusseirat

GAZA: A number of Palestinian civilians were killed and others were injured this afternoon in an Israeli airstrike targeting several homes in the Nusseirat refugee camp, located in the central Gaza Strip. Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted multiple civilian homes in the refugee camp, leading to the killing of several individuals and the injury of others. According to local health authorities, the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since early October 2023 has so far resulted in over 31,045 reported fatalities, most of whom are children and women, with an additional 72,654 documented injuries. This toll remains preliminary since thousands of victims are feared dead under rubble or left in the streets, with Israeli forces hindering access for ambulance and civil defense crews.
