Beirut: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raggi, on Thursday summoned the Iranian Charge d’Affaires in Beirut. He assigned the Secretary-General of the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Abdel Sattar Issa, to meet with the charg© d’affaires the following morning to convey Lebanon’s position rejecting any Iranian interference in the country’s internal affairs.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the Iranian charge d’affaires was summoned because Ambassador Mohammad Reza Shibani has not yet presented his credentials.
