Grand Mufti announces Tuesday Ramadan’s first day

Amman: Jordan's Grand Mufti, Ahmed Hasanat, Sunday announced that Tuesday would be the first day of Ramadan. Hasanat confirmed that the Ramadan crescent was not seen tonight during an event to monitor the crescent of Ramadan held by the Iftaa' Department at the King Hussein bin Talal Mosque.
