Gunfire Erupts During Clash Inside Rashidieh Palestinian Camp

Beirut: An altercation broke out on Tuesday between members of the Palestinian National Security forces inside the Rashidieh refugee camp, south of the city of Tyre, involving the exchange of gunfire. The Palestinian National Security later intervened to contain the incident and restore order.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the clash resulted in a tense situation within the camp, which houses a significant number of Palestinian refugees. The confrontation led to heightened security measures and efforts to stabilize the area in the aftermath of the gunfire exchange.

The Rashidieh camp, one of the many Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, has been a site of occasional unrest due to internal disputes and external pressures. The intervention by the Palestinian National Security forces was aimed at preventing any escalation and ensuring the safety of the camp's residents.
