Beirut: Interior Minister, Ahmad al-Hajjar, on Friday monitored security measures from the ministry's central operations room via remote contact with Internal Security Forces officers, reviewing steps implemented on the ground in line with the ceasefire.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hajjar stressed the need for intensified efforts and full coordination with the Lebanese Army to support the return of residents to villages, ensure public order and maintain smooth traffic flow.
In calls with governors, Hajjar urged maximum readiness and close attention to residents' needs. The Interior Minister also instructed Civil Defense chief Imad Khreiss to actively support debris removal and respond swiftly to emergencies.
