Head of Relief Authority: 105 Buildings Require Immediate Warning Notices

Tripoli: The Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Authority, Major General Bassam Nabulsi, conducted an inspection this morning of the collapsed building and the ongoing relief operations. He stated, “The problem in the city of Tripoli is like a fireball; it is a complex issue and not simple. According to the Tripoli Municipality’s survey, 105 buildings require immediate warning notices to their residents to evacuate them. We are working on two levels: providing shelter through ready-made housing units, and also providing accommodation allowances that can be paid to them, while also finding solutions for the families.”

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Major General Nabulsi further added that a meeting is scheduled with the Prime Minister next Monday. The objective of this meeting is to allocate funds to the Authority, thereby initiating the reinforcement process and implementing the necessary measures.
