Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued Edict (1) of 2026 concerning the transfer and appointment of directors within the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture. This decision follows a proposal submitted by the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the edict details the transfer of Abbas Abdullah Hussain Arafat, the current Director of Vegetation Development, to the position of Director of Afforestation and Parks. He will be succeeding Ahmed Abdulaziz Ahmed Buasali in this role.
In a reciprocal move, Ahmed Abdulaziz Ahmed Buasali will take over as Director of Vegetation Development, a position previously held by Abbas Abdullah Hussain Arafat. The Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture is tasked with implementing these changes, which are effective immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
