According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Morcos called for a peaceful and civilized electoral process, urging all participants to engage in a democratic battle where losers courteously congratulate winners. He highlighted the government's determination, as evidenced by both the President's field visits and the Prime Minister's recent plea, to uphold constitutional deadlines and entitlements.
Minister Morcos commended the Ministry of Interior for its organizational efforts and reiterated the significance of cooperation among citizens, state agencies, and particularly the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, led by Minister Hajjar. He noted that successful elections would pave the way for decentralization, a crucial step for regional development, alleviating the burden on the central state.
