Tehran: Iranian state television reported that Iranian oil tankers and other vessels have resumed maritime operations following an understanding with Washington, in a move seen as easing the U.S. naval blockade.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, a state TV correspondent said three Iranian oil tankers are currently sailing in the northern Indian Ocean, while two cargo ships carrying essential goods and animal feed are heading toward southern ports. The report added that the process of lifting the maritime blockade imposed since April 13 has been carried out.
