The attack targeted a residential area in Al-Manara, resulting in a high number of casualties among women and children, and left dozens more injured. According to Maan News Agency, local sources confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces struck a house in the Al-Manara area, leading to the deaths of 37 citizens. The victims included three young brothers-Amir, Abdullah, and Nour al-Din Mazhar al-Farra-who were all under 10 years old. A significant number of their relatives were also among those killed in the attack. The bombing also targeted a tent for displaced persons near the Bir 19 area in Mawasi, Khan Yunis. Among the identified victims were Sultana Juma Abu Azoum, 88, Nawal Nayef Abu Marzouq, 61, and Khaled Mohammed Hamed Abu Azoum, 51. Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been engaged in military operations in the Gaza Strip, resulting in more than 143,000 casualt ies, including deaths and injuries, predominantly affecting women and children. The conflict has also left over 10,000 people missing amid widespread destruction and famine, contributing to what is being described as one of the world's most severe humanitarian crises. Despite a United Nations Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire and orders from the International Court of Justice to prevent acts of genocide and address the dire humanitarian conditions in Gaza, Israel has continued its military campaign.
