Israeli Military Operation in North Gaza Claims Over 300 Palestinian Lives

GAZA CITY: More than 300 Palestinians have been killed in the Jabalia refugee camp in North Gaza since the commencement of Israel’s second military operation in the area, according to the government’s media office in Gaza. The operation, which began over nine days ago, has seen a significant escalation in violence.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Ismail Al-Thawabta, the director of the Gaza government media office, detailed the casualties during a press conference at Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital. Al-Thawabta described the Israeli actions as a “systematic crime” and condemned the targeting of civilians, including children and women, in residential neighborhoods. He accused the Israeli forces of committing ‘massacres against humanity’ and deliberately bombing centers for displacement and shelter. Al-Thawabta emphasized that these actions are part of a deliberate displacement strategy executed by the occupation forces.

The situation in Gaza has deteriorated rapidly, with Gaza health authorities reporting signific
ant casualties and injuries. Just in the past 24 hours, 52 Palestinians were reported dead and 128 others injured. Since October 7 of the previous year, the conflict has resulted in 42,227 deaths and 98,464 injuries, marking a severe humanitarian crisis in the region.
