Maarab: Lebanese Forces Party leader, Samir Geagea, met on Tuesday with MP Ibrahim Kanaan at the party's headquarters in Maarab. The meeting, which lasted for an hour, also included Strong Republic bloc MP Melhem Riachi.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Kanaan addressed reporters following the talks, emphasizing the importance of maintaining dialogue among all political forces for the good and interest of the Lebanese people. He highlighted that the meeting focused on all elements necessary to revive the country and restore hope to the Lebanese people.
When questioned about potential street conflicts as a form of internal score-settling, Kanaan expressed hope that such scenarios would be avoided and that matters would proceed in the right direction.
Addressing the issue of Hezbollah's weapons, Kanaan stated that it is essential to wait and see what the government decides. He emphasized the need to respect and uphold institutions and constitutional mechanisms, reaffirming that all parties are committed to the state and its interests.
